8/1 squares and 8/1 revolts monuments
This is how the city now calls the Ba Yi square. The original name for this area where people square. The 8/1 squares are symbolising the Nanchang 8/1 main roads on the land sector. As the official Nanchang website describes it "8/1 squares are Nanchang's windows, four sides is leads to the city four directions for the nonstop main road, here also is a center where the Nanchang resident moves." You often see various government affairs and the commercial activity every year in this square. This will say the square is a sort of central for the citys roads, communication and other important things in the city. In the center of the square you'll find towers and statues with 8/1 revolutionary moments from Nanchangs uprising the 1 of august 1927.
